Classroom Discussion

Guide your students through a page-by-page examination of the illustrations from the beginning of the story. Help your students to describe the monster. Discuss each scene where the characters are. Mistofer Christopher repeats a phrase throughout the book. What is that phrase? Help the student to understand the order of the story. Ask your students what they think is the moral of the story: “Talk About The Monster”.
