Testimonial
(Mistofer Christopher’s) Christopher Miller’s Talk about the Monster combines rhymes, conversational English, and vivid illustrations to cast a light on children’s fears. The book explores the capacity of art, creativity, and language to communicate and manage anxiety. By encouraging its young readers to imagine the monster and to identify its features, the book empowers children to make their world less terrifying. It will make a valuable tool for educators who want to encourage children to experiment with language to tell their own stories.
